Father Elijah is a very good villain, he isn't Ulysses good but he gets the job done, what makes Dead Money really great is the story of the crew you work with during a pretty linear story line whom without would probably be mediocre. The Sierra Madre is a fucked up place, people lure other survivors into traps, zombie like creatures drag you into a toxic cloud that kills you in a sixth of a minute if you have low endurance, the walls are painted with taunts and skeletons are littered all over the map with people who were either trapped and starved or were torn apart by the Ghost People. The Setting and the Combat were both great but honestly, what got me was the quality of character and story telling.

Vegas feels alive (although not with the strip, feels empty), it's on the frontier, it's in the middle of a war with two huge factions with opposite ideologies all proven to work and all proven to fall apart sooner or later, however this post isn't gushing over a fan favorite, I just want to gush over Dead Moneyĭead Money is small in scale but very ambitious, when I first started I thought I'd hate taking away my Power Armour and Anti-Material Rifle but it made me love what I had even more, safety became a privilege, no longer was I in an area where every living being my bitch, I had to scavenge, sneak and conserve ammunition in fear I would get trapped by the Ghost People, I lived in constant fear of being cornered and looking around because the soundtrack made me jump constantly. Dead Money capitalized on the success of Vegas that had already impressed me where Fallout 3 fell really short in almost all categories except maybe setting. I have just experienced the DLC for the first time in my life and I have a big ass smile on my face from playing it, it's easily the best DLC after the other three but Lonesome Road and Honest Hearts were close tied for second. r/galaxynewsradio - Fallout-sounding music r/falloutcosplayers - Fallout-related cosplay r/Wasteland - A subreddit for the Wasteland games. r/thefalloutdiaries - Journal-like fan fiction. r/falloutmods - Fallout modding community r/classicfallout - Classic Fallout Games
